Tongariro River Rafting has been offering adventures on the Central Plateau to school groups and school camps since 1990.

Qualified, dedicated staff
School Camps are meant to be a fun experience for all concerned and this is why we only employ qualified staff that will be committed to your group’s enjoyment and well being.
All our staff are multi skilled too, so your group may often get the same staff member for more than one activity and this gives better continuity and understanding within the group.
Safety first
A copy of our Health and Safety Achiever Status, which was accredited by the New Zealand Labour Department, is available, as well as our Risk Management forms for each activity to help you compile your camp RAMS forms at the time of booking.
All safety equipment is supplied so you can relax and enjoy the experience with your students.
