Hello Garth!! I am greatly remiss in not contacting you sooner to thank you for the fishing adventures of a lifetime. I had planned on sending a proper written Thank You card, but have not made much progress in that direction, so I hope the modern approach will get the job done. Not a day has gone by since our 4 days fishing of with you that I don't think excitedly and fondly of the truly fantastic fishing and grand adventures you provided for Dave and me. Reliving those days will bring a thrill for years to come. It was literally living a dream to be out with you in the glorious New Zealand back country, fishing those "stunning" pools one after another, learning from your incredible skill, experience and direction, and casting to and catching those monster New Zealand trout. Spending time with you was great fun and absolutely exciting for every minute. I could go on and on, but please know that you showed me what is without a doubt the best fishing experiences I've had in 30+ years of fly fishing (with apologies to our Oregon steelhead and Silver Creek Idaho trout - now in second and third place..). You have a great talent and gift for sharing the remarkable fishing experiences of New Zealand and I consider myself fortunate indeed to have been in your company for those 4 magical days. If I can ever find a way to get back to New Zealand, believe me, I will!! Hi Garth, Willie and team. I went Rafting with TRR last Sunday with three other friends. I would like to say how much of a great experience it was, the professionalism from when I entered your building to when I left was outstanding. The gear was in good condition and I was warm the entire trip. Willie was a great guide, he had and infectious smile and a positivity that rubbed off on the group which made the experience very pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you for a great experience that I will be recommending to as many people as I can. Both the Tongariro River and TRR are the special things that both all New Zealanders and overseas visitors should all enjoy. Well done what a fantastic experience.

It was the first time either of us had been white water rafting and can we just say - we are hooked! We had an absolute blast, the staff were very professional, but also made the day fun and exciting. Absolutely the best value for money - we highly recommend buying the CD with photos too.

This is a 'must do' for families. It offers everything that is great about NZ: stunning scenery; adventure; fishing; swimming; camping; and outstanding hospitality. It's relaxed; safe; fun and child friendly. Our kids rate it as one of their top two holidays. I highly recommend it.

A superb day out, I have used Garth for the last 3 years to raft and fish the Tongariro. His passion, skill and comraderie make for a sensational day out. Catered to all abilities, it won't disappoint.From dry fly, spot casting to cruisng trout, to nymphing,the diverse water offers it all. Highly recommend.
