Nervous before we began but wanted to do something out of my comfort zone. Nearly died when our guide said we had to sit on the side of the raft. It was an awesome experience and I trusted our guide (James) totally. He made me feel very comfortable and I loved the experience. Would recommend doing it and recommend Tongariro River Rafting. We were completely blown away by the whole Tongariro White Water Rafting experience... We was unprepared for the unspoiled beauty and isolation of the river and the surrounding area. A huge thanks must go to the whole team at TRR and especially our guides Mad Dog and Mike for making it such an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Very fun! Swimming very nice too and floating pumice interesting.

While on holiday in New Zealand staying with my sister, her and my six year old daughter came back from the supermarket saying "Your going rafting in an hour"!! I felt sick as this was not something I wanted to do, my husband on the other hand seemed pleased. When we arrived we were made to feel welcome and relaxed and the sense of humour from the staff certainley helped. Well within a few minutes of sitting on the raft I felt much better and knew we were in safe hands, the instructions we received from Tim where excellent and the end result was I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND ABSOLUTLEY LOVED IT, AND WOULD RECOMEND YOU ALL TRY IT. The only other thing is that I will always be it debt to my sister because if she hadn't arranged it for us we would certainley never have done it off of our own backs and certainley missed out on a wonderful experience. We are both looking forward to rafting again.

Amazing! I thought it was going to be reaaaally scary but actually it was soo epic! :) I want to find out if i can do white water rafting as a sport or if there is a summer camp that does rafting as a main activity! Thanks for an awesome experience :D x
